Reflecting on my journey here, I can’t help but marvel at how much my outlook has transformed. I walked in as someone who preferred to blend in with the background, yet with time, the warmth and encouragement from this community drew me out of my shell. I vividly recall my initial reluctance to get involved—volunteering felt daunting—but now, every moment spent serving has opened my eyes to a joy and purpose I never anticipated. A heartfelt thanks to this beautiful family for embracing me; this experience has completely reshaped my understanding of connection and belonging.

Recently, I've been spending time with the book of James, and I can’t get over how applicable its lessons are to my everyday life. It feels like the messages from the pastor are guiding me through challenges I didn’t even realize I needed help with. There’s something about shifting my focus to the smaller aspects of life that has really sparked a new energy in me; it's amazing to see how even tiny moments can inspire us. Last week was a game changer for my mom and me. Seeing her smile and get wrapped up in the service for the first time was a joy I'll never forget, and to hear her say she wants to return? That was the icing on the cake! I can’t wait to experience more of these moments together.

Isn't it interesting how those catchy children's worship songs seem to stick with us long after we've left the building? Just yesterday, I found myself unexpectedly singing “God is so good” while making breakfast—I even gave an impromptu performance in front of the mirror! It’s amazing how these simple melodies can brighten a mundane day, though I do wonder if we could mix it up every now and then. Does anyone else find themselves having these little jam sessions in the most surprising places? It's such a fun way to stay connected to what we experience at church!

During the worship session today, I was truly moved by the atmosphere. The song "Way Maker" resonated with me on such a personal level, and it felt like the energy shared among the congregation was almost palpable.
